Ski fashion editorial shoot at The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch
I can think of few natural highs quite like skiing. There is that adrenaline rush as you zip up to the top of mountain on the chair lift. Distant snow-capped peaks come into sight and you suddenly realize, damn, I’m high! Then the chair dumps you on the summit and the challenge begins–how to get down? Turn by turn you find your way. Finally, you succeed in reaching the bottom. There is nothing like the feeling of accomplishment you get after conquering that mountain. You treat yourself to a quick reward of hot cocoa and then you do it all over again!
Of course, half the fun of skiing is the gear. For this photoshoot, we selected an awesome ski look from MR PORTER. They have an amazing selection of gear that you should definitely check out. The bright colors of the red jacket and orange accessories really stand out against the backdrop of the snow. This is also a practical consideration so you can be seen on the slopes. We also featured an après ski look, a beautiful cable-knit sweater perfect for a cozy evening back at the lodge.
